Historic Lansdowne Theater Corporation to seek referendum to allow for Performing Arts Facility Liquor License in Lansdowne.
Voters registered in Lansdowne ONLY please join us in the theater on Saturday February 21st from 9 am to 1 pm to sign the petition that place the referendum on the ballot in theĀ 2015 Spring Primary Election.
The restrictive license being pursued will allow for the sale of liquor ONLY in the theater before, during and after shows. You must have a ticket to a performance to purchase a drink. This will NOT allow for licenses for bars, restaurants, convenience stores or anywhere else in the borough.
See the attached flier for more detail or visit www.Lansdownetheater.org.
The referendum has been endorsed by the Lansdowne Borough Council, Lansdowne Economic and Development Corporation, Greater Gladstone Civic Association and Historic Lansdowne Theater Corporation. This initiative has been endorsed by Mayor Anthony Campuzano and past mayors Jayne Young and Mollie Repetto.
Please invite your neighbors and friends who are registered to vote in Lansdowne to join us on the 21st.
The income generated by the sale of liquor will greatly help the non-profit to achieve financial viability and preserve this great building.
Representatives of the theater will be on-hand to answer your questions regarding the referendum.
