Hello Lansdownians,
Hopefully you’re all aware of the stall at the Farmers Market where the Penn Wood students sell what they grow at the Community Youth Garden. Now here’s a chance to pitch in, get your hands dirty, and support these wonderful kids and the good work that they’re doing here in Lansdowne. Read the info below about the volunteer day they’re having this Saturday.
Thanks!

Hello Garden Lovers–
I wanted to remind everyone that THIS SATURDAY October 1st from 10am-12pm we will be having a volunteer day in the Lansdowne Farmers Market Community Youth Garden! We will be building a shed, shoveling soil, pulling out old plants, weeding, and harvesting. It should be a lot of fun and it’s a great opportunity to get involved in the garden if you’ve been meaning to but just haven’t had time.
So once you’ve bought all of your weekly veggies at the Farmers Market, come check out the Community Youth Garden, located just 5 blocks from the Farmers Market, between the track and tennis courts behind Penn Wood’s Green Ave Campus.
I hope to see you all there on SATURDAY!
