Hello Lansdowners,
THANKS
First, a big THANK YOU to everyone who came out on a very cool and cloudy Keep Lansdowne Beautiful Day and cleaned up the downtown area. We were joined by about a dozen Penn Wood High School students who came up with this way of showing that they really do care about and contribute to this community. They saw this event as a great way to pitch in, and asked their English teacher to participate. So they were out there at 9:30 AM on a cold Saturday morning picking up bags and bags of trash for several hours — on their first day of Spring Break. Wow.
YARD WASTE WEDNESDAY!
Yup, this Wednesday is YWW, so get your cans, bags and bundles out to the curb by 7am so our crew can pick them up. Remember that they pick up 2 weeks a month (until late fall), but not necessarily every other Weds. You’ll want to check the schedule on your magnet to be sure.
